The Finance and Accounts Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company has accurate financial information, strong financial controls, healthy cash flow, effective working capital management, and reliable financial analysis to support profitable growth.

The position combines Finance Management & Business Finance responsibilities with approximately 40% Chief Accountant responsibilities, with the Finance Manager primarily responsible for supervision, review, control, and decision-making rather than routine accounting transaction processing.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Management
   • Prepare annual budgets, financial plans, and financial forecasts.
   • Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.
   • Analyze revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, EBITDA, and net profit.
   • Prepare financial models for business expansion, investments, loans, and major projects.
2. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
   • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts.
   • Manage the company's liquidity and working capital.
   • Monitor Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, inventory, and cash positions.
   • Monitor customer collections, credit exposure, and overdue accounts.
   • Optimize cash utilization and working capital.
3. Management Reporting & Financial Analysis
   • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management financial reports.
   • Analyze financial performance by product, brand, customer, region, and channel.
   • Analyze gross margin and profitability.
   • Prepare financial reports and presentations for AGM and MD.
4. Accounting Oversight
   • Supervise and review monthly and annual accounting closing.
   • Review General Ledger, Trial Balance, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
   • Review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable balances.
   • Review bank and cash reconciliations.
5. Tax, Audit & Compliance
   • Supervise tax preparation and statutory submissions.
   • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
   • Review audit schedules and support documents.
   • Follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
6. Internal Control & Risk Management
   • Establish and maintain effective financial controls.
   • Review financial processes and identify control weaknesses.
   • Ensure proper authorization and documentation of financial transactions.
   • Monitor risks relating to cash, credit, inventory, purchasing, payments, and revenue.
7. Trading & Distribution Finance
   • Review pricing, discounts, rebates, and promotional schemes.
   • Evaluate the financial impact of sales promotions and commercial activities.
   • Monitor distribution and logistics costs.
   • Support Sales and Management in commercial decision-making.
8. Inventory & Cost Management
   • Monitor inventory investment and inventory turnover.
   • Review slow-moving, excess, damaged, and expired inventory.
   • Analyze Cost of Goods Sold / Cost of Sales and product margins.
   • Work with Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to improve inventory efficiency.
9. Team Management
   • Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounting team.
   • Directly supervise and review the performance of the Chief Accountant.
   • Assign responsibilities and monitor completion of Finance & Accounting activities.
   • Develop the team's technical and professional capabilities.
10.  Business & Management Support
    • Provide financial advice to the AGM and MD on business decisions.
    • Evaluate the financial impact of new products, customers, branches, warehouses, and commercial activities.
    • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce unnecessary costs.
    • Provide timely financial information for Management decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of Finance & Accounting experience
• At least 3yrs Management Position ( Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Chief Accountant, or similar senior position.)
• Experience in Trading, Distribution, FMCG, Wholesale, or Retail is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP/SAP/ Odoo Software accounting system skills.

• Ability to supervise the Chief Accountant and Finance team.
