Main Purpose: To provide a professional, efficient and effective Health Service for students and staff.

Job Description

• Support the Senior Leaders in managing outbreaks, epidemics and emergencies
• Provide health education to parents to meet the needs of the community
• Support health education to students to meet the needs of the community
• Offer health advice to staff as requested
• Liaise with outside organisations and manage health initiatives which impact on the school (eg. vaccination programmes)
• Advise the Senior Leadership Team on any health concerns arising in the local area
• Ensure that all First Aid kits on site are regularly checked for stock and replenished where necessary
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Calm manner
• Positive attitude
• At least 3 to 5 years in related filed 
• Recognised nursing qualification at degree level
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Other qualifications relating to the field of nursing (desired)
• Basic Computer knowledge (typing, data input)
• Experience of working in a hospital environment
• Experience of working with children (desired)
• A competent level of English and Myanmar 
• The ability to communicate sensitively with children and parents
• The ability to work effectively with senior leaders and outside organisations on health matters relating to the local community
• The ability to maintain confidentiality
• A knowledge and understanding of Child Protection and safeguarding policies and procedures  as they relate to the school.
• A sound knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures as they relate to the school.
