Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic International Sourcing & Import Manager to establish and lead our International Sourcing & Import Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing international supplier networks, managing end-to-end sourcing and import operations, building efficient systems and processes, and supporting the company’s expansion into skincare, beauty, supplements, healthcare products, and future pharmaceutical businesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and proven leadership experience in international sourcing and supply chain management.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement international sourcing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and establish long-term relationships with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and import activities, including supplier communication, purchase orders, shipping coordination, import documentation, customs clearance, and delivery scheduling.

• Source and develop product portfolios including skincare products, cosmetics, beauty accessories, nutritional supplements, healthcare products, and future pharmaceutical products.

• Conduct market research, product feasibility studies, pricing analysis, competitor analysis, and profitability evaluations.

• Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities (MOQ), contracts, and supplier agreements.

• Coordinate OEM, ODM, and private-label product development projects with international manufacturers.

• Work closely with regulatory teams to support product registration, import licensing, compliance documentation, and quality assurance requirements.

• Collaborate with warehouse, retail operations, finance, marketing, and management teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations and successful product launches.

• Develop departmental workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational processes for the International Sourcing & Import Division.

• Recruit, lead, coach, and develop the sourcing and import team while establishing KPIs and performance management systems.

• Prepare sourcing reports, supplier evaluations, import cost analyses, and business recommendations for management decision-making.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in international sourcing, procurement, import/export, supply chain, FMCG, beauty, cosmetics, supplements, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industries.

• Strong knowledge of international sourcing, supplier management, import procedures, shipping documentation, and customs processes.

• Proven experience negotiating with overseas suppliers and managing international commercial relationships.

• Experience in OEM, ODM, private-label product sourcing, or brand development is highly preferred.

• Good understanding of market trends, consumer products, and commercial business strategies.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English for international business communication.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferred.

• Experience working with suppliers from China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, Europe, or other international markets is an advantage.

• Experience in skincare, beauty, healthcare, wellness, pharmacy, or retail businesses is highly preferred.

• Local travel within Myanmar and overseas business travel may be required for supplier meetings, factory visits, exhibitions, and business development activities.
