Investment Analyst (Deals & Financial Modeling)

• To lead financial modeling and validating investment assumptions during the early stages of the investment lifecycle.
• To drives origination phase through getting approval from the investment committee, including feasibility analysis, business plan development, integrated financial modeling, and preparation of financial materials for the Investment Committee (IC). 
• The role ensures the investment case is financially sound, validated with cross-functional teams, and ready for IC decision-making.
• Support Business Development to evaluate new opportunities through sector research, benchmarking, commercial data extraction, and initial financial screening.
• Build fully integrated financial models with assumptions spanning revenue, capex, opex, working capital, debt schedules, and returns. Run sensitivities and scenario analyses.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, operations, logistics, ESG, and legal teams to validate assumptions used in the financial model and business plan.
• Prepare financial sections for presentation to IC; explain key metrics such as IRR, NPV, payback, DSCR, sensitivity impacts, and financial risks.
• Update business plan and financial model based on IC feedback, prepare delta analysis, and support resubmission.
• Maintain assumption logs and validation documentation, and conduct market, industry, and pricing research to support inputs.
• Support cost benchmarking together with other support teams, prepare investment metrics and contribute to IC deck preparation.
• Ensure consistency and integrity of financial model versions.
   

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Data/Business Analytics
• 1–5 years of experience in financial modeling, investment analysis, consulting, FP&A, audit, or project finance preferred
• Advanced Excel & financial modeling (integrated models, sensitivities)
• Strong understanding of investment metrics (IRR, NPV, DSCR, ROIC)
• Data analysis, research, and benchmarking
• Ability to work cross-functionally and chase missing data
• Clear communication and financial storytelling skills
