· Provide first-level support for database incidents, service requests, and issues.

· Monitor database performance, availability, and system health.

· Assist in database installation, configuration, and upgrades.

· Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and patching.

· Support troubleshooting of performance issues, errors, and failures.

· Review logs, alerts, and reports to proactively identify issues.

· Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve database-related problems.

· Maintain proper documentation for operations, incidents, and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with security policies and access control requirements.

· Install and test new versions of the database management system (DBMS)

· Work closely with IT project managers, database programmers and multimedia programmers

· Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security

· Commission and install new applications and customize existing applications in order to make them fit for purpose

· Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.

· Knowledge of database systems (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, MS SQL Server).

· Understanding of SQL queries, indexing, and database concepts.

· Familiarity with backup and recovery processes.

· Basic knowledge of Linux/Windows server environments.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and teamwork abilities.

· Experience with Database Structure.

· Prior experience building and maintaining documentation

· Proficient in English.

· Experience and comfortable interfacing directly with customers to support sales and opportunity evaluation
