Job Purpose:

To manage and develop relationships with key clients in the commodity trading sector, ensuring high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships for Agri-commodity exports (such as pulses, rice, sesame, etc.).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key international and domestic commodity buyers.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic accounts, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Coordinate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules with internal teams and clients.
  • Work closely with the export, documentation, and logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Monitor order flow and ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of client requirements.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues and ensure quick and professional resolution.
  • Gather feedback from clients for continuous service improvement.
  • Analyze sales performance with each key client and identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist in the negotiation and renewal of annual contracts or long-term agreements.
  • Stay informed on commodity market trends and competitor activity.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs or client meetings, both locally and abroad if needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B, commodity trading, or export business.
  • Previous experience handling key clients or high-volume buyers is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of agri-commodity products and international trade practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ERP knowledge is a plus.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) – for dealing with international clients.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client visits or trade events.
