Lead, train & mentor the maintenance team to ensure high performance & professional development to meet specified operations goals.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve the efficiency of maintenance operations.
Formulate improvement programs and implement monitoring and controls for the maintenance functions.
Plan, prioritize, and manage corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance.
Establish maintenance management system for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of factory equipment.
Analyze causes of downtime, implement improvements focused on the elimination of repetitive failures and report regularly with the management.
Meet regularly with relevant departments to discuss issues, solutions and plans.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, operations) to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to business operations.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
Inspect the machines on a weekly basis to ensure it is functioning properly and safely; work with the maintenance staff to ensure any equipment issues are immediately attended to and effectively solved.
Participate in the hiring decision-making process, train new recruits and ensure existing staff have the required understanding of safety protocols & maintenance skill.
Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, controlling costs and identifying opportunities for savings.
Provides and renders full technical support to production departments.
Understand and able to execute 5S, GMP, FSMS & TPM according to standards
To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time.

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automation Engineering
Minimum 2 years’ experience in food manufacturing environment.
Must have experience in Boiler maintenance and repair.
Have hands on experience on in understanding mechanical and electrical problems & troubleshooting.
Able to understand P& ID and schematic diagrams.
Self-motivated and possess a good working attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Self-driven, independent and analytical.
Strong problem solving, negotiation, decision making and time-management skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Able to plan, organize and prioritize given tasks
Able to work under minimum supervision
