This position is a 1-year contract-based employment.

The incumbent is responsible for dealing with the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide array of contracts and legal documents including RFQs/RFPs. The incumbent will engage with various internal departments, particularly the Sourcing Department, to support negotiations with international vendors and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This role demands a proactive approach to legal issues, fostering innovation in legal processes and document standardization.

Contracts Drafting and Review:

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, risk management strategies, and regulatory requirements.

Legal Documentation:

• Prepare, review, and manage legal documentation related to corporate governance, compliance, and operational matters.

RFP and RFQ Preparation:

• Support the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations
• (RFQs), ensuring legal soundness and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Support to Sourcing/Procurement Department:

• Collaborate with the Sourcing Department to provide legal support during negotiations with local & international vendors.

International Experience:

• Leverage international legal experience to navigate cross-border transactions and compliance issues effectively.

Regulatory Compliance and Correspondence:

• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, advising the company on necessary actions to maintain compliance.

Education

• LL.B (or) LL.M degree in Law.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years proven experience as a lawyer; and atleast 3 years+ in telecom sector.
• Advanced professional English.
• Experience in supporting procurement and sourcing team.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and legal documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to legal queries within specified time.
