Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering/Maintenance Team to ensure the safe, reliable, efficient and continuous operation of all machinery, utility equipment and electrical systems.

The position is responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, managing breakdown repairs, improving machine reliability, controlling maintenance costs, and ensuring minimum production downtime.

The Manager will also be responsible for supporting energy efficiency and utility management, including Generator, Air Compressor, Solar Power System, Motors, Pumps and other plant utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Teams.
• Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) Plans.
• Lead machine Breakdown Maintenance & Troubleshooting.
• Manage maintenance of Production Machines, Motors, Pumps, Aircon, Air Compressors, Air Dryers and Generators.
• Monitor and maintain Solar Power System & Electrical Distribution Systems.
• Manage industrial electrical systems.
• Manage maintenance spare parts and maintenance budget.
• Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with Safety and company procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Preventive Maintenance Plan and Schedule, Daily Maintenance reports, Machine History Records, Energy Consumption Reports, Monthly Maintenance Reports
• Identify opportunities for energy saving and efficiency improvement, monitor high-energy-consuming motors, compressors, pumps and production equipment,
• Manage troubleshooting & repair on machine breakdown in time

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) – Mechanical / Electrical or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant maintenance/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Plastic Manufacturing / Flexible Packaging is highly preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of both Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance.
• Good knowledge and hand on practice of Generator, Compressor, Pump, Motor, Aircon, Solar and Industrial Electrical Systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during emergency breakdowns.
