Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead marketing for our solar distribution business, covering multiple brands of solar panels, inverters, batteries and related products.

The business serves both B2B customers (wholesalers, dealers and installers – approximately 80% of sales) and retail customers (approximately 20%). The role will focus on growing sales, strengthening brand positioning and ensuring marketing expenditure delivers measurable commercial returns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy and budget.
• Develop separate marketing strategies for B2B/installer channels and retail customers.
Plan dealer and installer promotions, product launches, training, events and partner marketing programs.
• Manage retail lead-generation and digital marketing campaigns.
• Develop clear positioning for multiple brands to minimize brand cannibalization and channel conflict.

• Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing and customer needs.
• Work closely with Sales to improve lead generation and conversion.

• Manage marketing agencies, vendors and the internal marketing team.

• Track campaign performance and regularly report results to management.

• Measure CAC, cost per lead, conversion rate, marketing-generated sales, gross profit, ROAS and marketing ROI.


• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or related field.
5–8+ years of marketing experience, preferably in solar, electrical products, electronics, building materials, automotive, telecom or another distribution business.

• Strong experience in B2B/channel marketing, particularly dealers, wholesalers, distributors or installers.

• Experience in digital marketing and B2C customer acquisition.

• Experience managing multiple brands or product categories preferred.

• Strong analytical, Excel and reporting skills.

• Good understanding of CRM, lead management and marketing performance measurement.

• Solar industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
