Job Description: Senior Mobile App Developer (React Native)

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Mobile App Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for taking over our existing school management mobile application, ensuring its stability, and spearheading the development of new mobile solutions.

Our ecosystem relies on a robust PHP Laravel backend, so the ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with backend engineers to ensure seamless API integration and high-performance data handling.
Key Responsibilities

• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of the existing React Native codebase, perform audits, and implement necessary optimizations or refactoring.

• Feature Development: Work closely with the team to design, build, and ship new features that enhance the user experience for students, parents, and administrators.

• New Product Launch: Lead the architectural design and development of upcoming mobile applications from scratch.

• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and fix bugs, improve application responsiveness, and ensure smooth cross-platform performance (iOS & Android).

• Collaboration: Coordinate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and contribute to the technical roadmap of the mobile suite.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with a heavy focus on React Native.

• Full Lifecycle Knowledge: Proven track record of taking over existing projects and successfully deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Technical Stack:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Hooks.

  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).

  • A firm understanding of integrating with Laravel-based APIs and handling authentication (JWT, Sanctum, etc.).

  • Knowledge of native modules and bridging when required.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to mentor junior team members or work effectively in a collaborative environment.
   

  Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

• Experience with UI/UX design principles to ensure a premium look and feel.

• Previous experience working on educational or management systems.
