Role Purpose The Procurement Governance & Vendor Performance Manager is a dual-purpose leadership role designed to ensure that the KBZ Bank sourcing activities are ethical, compliant, and highly efficient. You will be responsible for building the "rules of the road" (governance) and ensuring our partners are delivering maximum value (performance).

This role sits at the intersection of Risk Management, Operations, and Strategic Sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Governance & Compliance

• Policy Development: Design, implement, and maintain bank procurement policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Audit & Risk: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with sourcing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ethics & Integrity: Oversee the Code of Conduct for both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Process Optimization: Continuously refine the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle to reduce friction while maintaining control.

Vendor Performance Management (VPM)

• Framework Creation: Develop a standardized Vendor Management Framework, including Tiering logic (Strategic vs. Tactical suppliers).
• KPIs & Scorecards: Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Business Reviews: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with strategic partners to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for significant vendor defaults or persistent performance gaps.

Data & Reporting

• Spend Analysis: Work with Finance to analyze spend data, identifying leakage or opportunities for consolidation.
• Reporting: Deliver monthly dashboards to executive leadership regarding compliance rates, vendor health, and savings realized.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, IT, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement and contract management..
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPIM, CPSM, CCMP) are a plus.
• Knowledge of software licensing models.
