The Procurement Manager (Sourcing) is responsible for sourcing and purchasing products or raw materials required for export operations. The role involves identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating prices and contracts, ensuring product quality and compliance with export requirements, and coordinating closely with the export, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely delivery for international customers.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Sourcing and Development

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable local and international suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term cooperation.
• Conduct supplier assessments and performance evaluations.
• Procurement Planning
• Work closely with the export sales team to understand buyer requirements and specifications.
• Plan procurement activities based on export orders and forecast demand.
• Ensure availability of products/materials for timely shipment.
• Price Negotiation and Cost Control
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor market price trends to achieve competitive procurement costs.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Quality and Compliance
• Ensure all sourced products meet buyer specifications and export quality standards.
• Coordinate with quality control teams to maintain product quality.
• Ensure compliance with international trade and export regulations.
• Order Management
• Prepare and manage purchase orders and contracts with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding delivery timelines and quality.
• Resolve procurement issues such as delays, shortages, or quality problems.
• Coordination with Internal Teams
• Work closely with logistics and export documentation teams.
• Ensure procurement aligns with shipment schedules and export documentation requirements.
• Reporting and Documentation
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and supplier performance reports for management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in export operations.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Good knowledge of international trade and export requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
