Job Summary

Senior Contracts Administrator is responsible to manage contracts especially in reviewing and preparing the draft contracts/ agreements, work orders under direct supervision of respective line manager/HoD while coordinating with the Review Team and related project team or End User. This role will also require to perform Stamp Duty process at LTO or MTO in time, and assist the assigned tasks of the Tendering or Bidding process in line with Company procedures together with Supervisors/ respective Manager or HoD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the MSA, WO, Contracts, and Agreement on time as requested by end user department under supervision of direct Supervisor.
  • Circulate draft MSA, WO, Agreement and Contracts to MPRL E&P Review Team step by step and finalise it under supervision of direct Supervisor.
  • Coordinate with Suppliers / Services Provider and third party to finalize the terms and conditions of the agreement after getting it reviewed by MPRL E&P Review Team under supervision of direct Supervisor.
  • Endorse stamp duty at respective stamp duty office on time in accord with existing laws under supervision of direct supervisor.
  • Collect and store the hard copy of MSA, WO, Agreement and Contracts in proper workplace for future reference.
  • To get enough stock of Revenue Stamp Sheet from Tax Office.
  • Get the Executive Management Approval as required in related with business tasks.
  • To prepare and amend the SOP of MSA, WO, Agreement and related Contracts.
  • To review / summarise and renew the MSA, WO, and Contracts as required.
  • Assist to make price comparison/ technical comparison from services providers.
  • Data restoring of related soft file in respective storage space.

Periodically, the employee may be expected to perform assigned duties and tasks not covered in his job description as well as to provide support to other departments when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSAs):

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
•    Adequate reading, writing and speaking in English and Myanmar
•    Experienced Translation skills from English to Myanmar and vice versa
•    Adequate report writing & presentation skill
•    Knowledge of contract management and well-versed in preparing agreements and contracts
•    Knowledge of tendering process / quotation process / comparison statement is preferable
•    Others related professional knowledge (ie. Taxation / Stamp Duty / Current Applicable Law). 
•    Compliance Knowledge as required to apply in current responsibilities.

Education and Experience:

•    Bachelor’s in law or any related Bachelor's degree
•    Diploma in Business Law
•    Around (3) years experiences in contracts section and tendering background. 
•    Around (2) years experiences in Legal & Compliance Function and Law Firm is preferable 
•    Certificates in English Four Skills (minimum Intermediate level)
•    Certificates in Basic Compliance Training Course is preferable
•    Certificates in Business English is preferable
