The Legal Section Head will work on documents including policies, procedures, project documents, contracts and agreements, terms and conditions to ensure the bank’s full legal rights.

• Prepare reports  needed by Head of Legal and Head of the Function
• Oversee the work produced by Senior Legal Officer and the teams
• Drafting/updating of Terms and Conditions/Forms of the bank
• Reviewing the agreements before executing the agreements
• Analyze on Myanmar laws, regulations and procedures while coordinating with the associated departments
• Maintain the contracts data
• Oversee and advise criminal and criminal cases of the bank
• Take charge in litigations related to loans and NPL cases of the bank
• Review and confirm loans/NPL files for litigation
• Conduct Due Diligence on loans/NPL files at relevant government offices
• Manage the bank’s litigation lawyer panel, including lawyer fees and court fees.
• Respond in a timely manner when advice seeked by Functions/Vcs of the bank.

• Bachelor of Laws or higher diploam related with Laws

• Minimum 4~5 years working experience in reputable law firm or an in-house counsel environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including WORD, Excel, Powerpoint and etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail, with a real passion for and understanding the nature of banking products and the ability to quickly learn about new technologies

• Extremely proactive, self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work with various personalities at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity.
