What You’ll Do

As a mid-level engineer, you'll take ownership of key features and infrastructure in our AI video generation stack. You'll work across the stack — from intuitive front-end interfaces to scalable back-end systems — collaborating with engineers and founders to bring magical user experiences to life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building interactive UI components using React for a seamless prompt-to-video workflow

• Developing and scaling backend services in Node.js and Python

• Integrating with multimodal LLMs and agents

• Designing and maintaining AWS services (Lambda, S3 etc.)

• Collaborating on prompt engineering and fine-tuning tools for better video generation UX

• Contributing to internal tools for dataset management, inference orchestration, and video previews

Role Overview

As a mid-level software engineer, you will take ownership of product-facing features with a strong emphasis on frontend development, while contributing across the stack. You will work closely with founders and engineers to design, build, and iterate on a fast-evolving AI-native product.

What You’ll Do

• Build and refine interactive, high-performance UI using React for a seamless prompt-to-video experience

• Own frontend architecture decisions for features and collaborate on broader system design

• Integrate backend services (Node.js, Python) and APIs to support real-time and asynchronous workflows

• Work with multimodal LLMs and AI agents to enable new product capabilities

• Contribute to internal tools for dataset management, inference orchestration, and video preview systems

• Partner with design and product to rapidly prototype and iterate on user-facing features

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience (startup experience is a plus)

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and state management

• Experience integrating APIs and working with backend systems

• Familiarity with Python and cloud environments (AWS or similar)

• Ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

• Strong product intuition and attention to user experience

• Ownership mindset and ability to take features from concept to production

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with generative AI (LLMs, diffusion models, etc.)

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or RLHF

• Experience building creative tools, editors, or media-related products

• Contributions to open-source projects or side projects with demos
