Role Overview

The ERP Technical Developer (Mid–Senior Level) is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / Microsoft Dynamics AX environment. This role focuses on delivering scalable customizations, integrations, and enhancements to support business operations and improve system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Functional Consultants and business users to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations using X++, extensions, and standard development frameworks in Dynamics 365 / AX.
• Develop and maintain integrations using AIF, OData, REST APIs, and external services.
• Create and maintain reports using SSRS and support data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Support system upgrades, code deployments, data migrations, and environment management (LCS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging and root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, coding standards, and extension-based development models.
• Optimize system performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance and streamline business processes.
• Provide technical documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6+ years of experience in Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development.
• Strong proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, and MorphX (for AX).
• Hands-on experience with integrations (AIF, OData, custom APIs).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts.
• Experience with SSRS reporting and data entities.
• Understanding of core ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, etc.).
• Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment and deployment management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with functional and business teams.
