Job Summary
Edulink Myanmar is seeking a Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students and families through university selection, applications, test requirements, and visa preparation. This role combines counselling, admissions support, and recruitment activities in a student-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
● Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, courses, countries, and study pathways.
● Advise students on entry requirements, IELTS/TOEFL/SAT/GRE/GMAT scores, and application strategy.
● Support application preparation, deadline tracking, scholarship guidance, and document follow-up.
● Provide visa and post-admission guidance, including study plans, transitions, and next steps.
● Maintain accurate student records, progress updates, and outcome reports for management review.
● Assist with recruitment events, school visits, webinars, and marketing activities to attract students.
● Communicate clearly with students and families, offering personalized and step-by-step counselling.

● Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; experience in education counselling, sales, or admissions preferred.
● Strong communication, mentoring, and cross-cultural relationship-building skills with students and families.
● Knowledge of Western admissions processes, study destinations, and standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, and GMAT.
● Ability to handle multiple applications, deadlines, and detailed documentation with accuracy.
● Familiarity with local education trends, competitive exams, and student decision-making patterns.
● Experience in university networking, recruitment events, or education marketing is an advantage.
● Strong organizational skills, teamwork, and a supportive, student-centered approach.
