We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Officer to oversee tax compliance, regulatory affairs, tax reporting, and government liaison activities across a diversified Group of Companies. The role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Myanmar tax laws, managing tax audits, minimizing tax risks, and providing professional tax advisory support to management and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Myanmar tax laws and statutory requirements.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
• Manage tax audits, assessments, and regulatory reviews.
• Liaise with the Internal Revenue Department (IRD) and government authorities.
• Review tax calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Identify tax risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Provide tax advisory support on business transactions and contracts.
• Strengthen tax governance, controls, and compliance procedures across the Group.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CA, DipIFR, MPA, or Master's Degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of accounting and taxation experience.
• 3–5 years in a tax compliance management role.
• Experience handling Myanmar tax compliance, tax audits, and regulatory matters.
• Experience with conglomerates, group companies, manufacturing, trading, energy, or infrastructure sectors is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Myanmar Income Tax, Commercial Tax, and Union Tax Laws.
• Experience liaising with IRD and government authorities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity and professional ethics.
• ERP and Accounting System knowledge preferred.
