  • The warehouse manager oversees all daily activities which include receiving goods and storing them and picking and dispatching items to their destination.
  • The warehouse space needs to be utilized efficiently while materials must be stored correctly to prevent any impact on business operations.
  • The company needs to maintain precise inventory records while developing stock management methods that will succeed in controlling inventory levels.
  • The inventory team must perform stock counts and conduct inventory audits while they investigate inventory discrepancies to find solutions.
  • The organization needs to deliver products to both customers and internal departments in a manner that meets their required time schedule while maintaining accuracy.
  • The warehouse supervisor leads the team while training staff members to complete their work and official evaluation of their job performance.
  • The organization needs to follow its established company policies and procedures and operational standards that govern warehouse activities
  • The safety procedures for the warehouse need to be implemented while all safety rules must be followed without exception.
  • The staff needs to maintain the warehouse area by keeping it clean and organized while they handle materials and warehouse equipment.
  • The warehouse team will create reports and work with production departments as they track key performance indicators to detect opportunities for improvement.
