Job Purpose The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and effective management of the company’s accounting and financial operations, including inventory control, sales accounting, cash and bank management, receivables, and financial reporting. 1. Inventory Management Verify Stock In through ground checks and system entry checks Review and approve Stock Out entries for accuracy Conduct regular ground stock taking and reconcile with records Perform stock quality checks and report discrepancies or damages Monitor and control operation-issued stock Verify transfer stock-in transactions Prepare and submit daily inventory reports 2. Sales Accounting Check accuracy of sales invoice calculations Prepare daily and monthly sales reports 3. Cash & Bank Management Maintain and review daily cash book and bank book Monitor and control sales tax stamp balances Ensure proper use and accuracy of the Chart of Accounts (COA) 4. Receivable Management Maintain and monitor accounts receivable records Review outstanding receivables and follow up as required 5. Financial Accounting & Reporting Perform internal current account reconciliations Prepare Profit & Loss statements Prepare Balance Sheets Submit timely financial reports to management
