What we do

Establishment in 2008, we have emphasized on manufacturing products of superior quality able to compete with international standards and provide our customers with satisfaction. Asia General is known throughout Myanmar as a manufacturer of a complete range switchgear panels, as well as power and distribution transformers designed to grant the reliability and efficiency required in utility, industrial, and commercial applications. We are a leader in switchgear panel and transformer manufacturing throughout Myanmar and offer liquid-filled and dry-type transformers, as well as services for complete life-cycle support, including replacement parts and components. HQ at Yuzana Tower and Factory at Hlaing Tar Yar. Our Products are Transformer, Panel and Switchgear. AG Transformer and switch gear operates a Quality Management System approved to ISO9001:2008 and ISO9001:2015.

Implement a behavioral competency framework to support performance improvement across the organization. Conduct internal diagnostics and process reviews to identify barriers to performance, and research best practices to propose solutions. Support management in talent management, succession planning, and other strategic initiatives to enhance workforce development. Design and implement e-learning courses, workshops, and in-person training tailored to organizational needs, ensuring alignment with company goals and employee development. Collaborate with Department Heads to create personalized development plans, focusing on skill enhancement and career progression. Conduct assessments to identify employee development needs and prioritize training initiatives for maximum impact. Oversee the development of the Annual Training and Development Plan, managing the budget to ensure effective resource allocation. Deliver Orientation Programs and initial skills training for new recruits, ensuring all employees receive appropriate onboarding. Promote a service-oriented culture by regularly measuring learner feedback and communicating insights to management and staff for continuous improvement. Train and develop departmental trainers and oversee their continuous professional growth through workshops and meetings. Guide managers and supervisors in developing their teams through coaching and mentoring programs. Assess the return on investment (ROI) for training and development programs and ensure that these initiatives align with strategic goals. Prepare monthly Employee Development reports and maintain accurate training records. Collaborate with the VP-HR to contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies, ensuring they support overall organizational goals. Oversee the annual appraisal process, ensuring consistency and quality in appraisal documentation. Regularly review training and development best practices, staying informed of trends and making recommendations for improvement.
Manage HOD Schedule,including meeting,appointment and travel arrangements. Prepare reports,presentation and official documents as required. Handle correspondence(emails,letters)and prioritize urgent matters. Maintain and orgainze technical document,project files and engineering reports. Ensure proper filing and retrieval of design specifications,test reports and quality documents. Schedule,prepare agendas and record minutes for technical and project meetings. Maintain a professional and organized work enviroment. Coordinate with external stakeholders such as suppliers,clinets and regulatory bodies. Relay technial and administrative messsages accurately.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize machine downtime. Establish long-term maintenance strategies aligned with production schedules and company objectives. Plan yearly maintenance budgets and monitor cost efficiency Oversee the maintenance and performance of all production machinery, electrical systems, utilities, and factory infrastructure. Ensure calibration, upgrading, and modernization of key equipment as necessary. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repair, servicing, or installation projects. Lead the maintenance team (engineers, supervisors, and technicians) to achieve department goals. Assign daily tasks, monitor KPIs, and evaluate staff performance. Identify training needs and develop technical competency within the team. Direct and support maintenance teams in resolving complex machine breakdowns. Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and downtime analysis reports. Prepare and submit monthly maintenance reports (downtime summary, cost analysis, and performance metrics). Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering departments to ensure smooth plant operations. Support Management in technical project planning and factory expansion activities
