Perform adequate planning and effective execution of branch office monitoring of BRAC MFCL as per monthly monitoring schedules as planned and timely execution and submission of the monitoring reports to the respective supervisor and managers. Carry out any other monitoring assignments like regular monitoring visits, special investigation, surprise monitoring visits and assessment of high-risk branches as directed by the supervisor. Submit the general reports, significant reports and special reports to line manager timely with proper branch risk assessment and assist in identification of risky branch. Brought up quality monitor observation, quality report writing skill, new monitor findings with preparation and maintaining of monitor working files as per standard. Responsible for reviewing last cycle’s monitoring report and special report before upcoming monitoring visits and make a necessary plan. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly reports and reports timely and to follow the monitoring schedule, monitoring system and strategies. Respect and follow the organization’s policies, rules and procedures and Responsible for working without bias or compromise with true findings. Build up and maintain strong communication with the respective department and programmed management. Attend various departmental meetings and share new ideas and findings among team members. To perform internal audit activities as per monthly audit schedule and assist Head of Internal Audit in different types of management reports to implement effective and efficient functions of internal audit services in the BRAC Myanmar. Ensure the effective execution of branch office audit as per monthly audit schedules as assigned by the supervisor and prepare and submit Internal audit reports with necessary analysis and identifying appropriate title of the finding, observations, risks, root causes and recommendations and share the report with management response to the supervisor. Drive the branch level risk assessments in line with risk management framework to identify the critical business / programme areas in field level. Ensuring preservation of sufficient and appropriate documentation against audit findings. Prepare accurate and detailed audit reports based on findings. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provide recommendations to improve internal controls and mitigate risks. Assist supervisor any other audit assignments at country office level like process audit, quarterly finance and accounts department audit, information system audit, regulatory and donor compliance audit, special investigation, annual inventory, surprise audit, physical verification of assets, department, or operational audit as per direction and supervision of the head of internal audit. Ensure internal audit findings in the system and release the observation for follow up the audit recommendations implementation status through communicating with action owners and update internal audit follow up tracker into the system. About the Role: The Head of Internal Audit leads BRAC Maynmar internal auditing operations. The scope of work will include but not limited to operational, financial, risks, processes, and compliancebased audit projects. Other projects will include, but not be limited to, due diligence, fraud investigations, pre and post-IT reviews. S/He will lead and administer a comprehensive risk, compliance, and process-based internal audit program to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and BRAC’s policies, procedures and processes are designed with efficiency and effectiveness. He/She also guide the responsibility for the recruitment and onboarding of new internal audit staff and conducts performance evaluations, including developing, mentoring and coaching of staff.S/He will eventually through BI’s Internal Audit have complete discretion over the design,development, and testing strategy of the BRAC Maynmar ’s overall audit which will encompass multiple risk verticals. Key Responsibilities: Development and implementation of risk-based annual internal audit plan as per the guideline of the head office; Development of monthly Branch audit audit plans and circulate to country management; Conduct process audit, program quality audit, safeguarding review as per the recommended schedule of the head office; Overall responsible for auditing BRAC’s all operations at the country level.
