The Business Coalition for Gender Equality Association (BCGE) is a non-profit association and a coalition of companies committed to promoting gender equality in the workplace in Myanmar. BCGE is funded by DFAT and founded by five leading businesses in Myanmar – City Mart Holding Limited (CMHL), KBZ Bank, AYA Bank, FMI Company Limited, and Shwe Taung Development Limited – that have all committed to achieving organisational growth and global sustainable development goals through workplace gender equality initiatives. BCGE encourages all companies and organisations in the private sector to initiate workplace gender equality practices and serves as a trusted advisor and a center of excellence in workplace gender equality, diversity & inclusion to support their journey.
The primary objectives of the Association are to promote and support the commercial sector in implementing gender equality initiatives in the workplace in Myanmar businesses to achieve the following gender equality in the workplace goals:
a) Closing the gender pay gap
b) Progressing women into leadership and senior management positions
c) Improving equitable and inclusive workplace infrastructure
d) Ensuring that leaders and managers drive equality and inclusivity practices
e) Investing in family-friendly working conditions

All Business Coalition for Gender Equality Association Jobs
The Sales and Partnership Officer will work under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Business Development and Partnership. This role is responsible for leading sales, and partnership activities by developing strategies, while executing plans, approaches and campaigns. The Officer will also take the lead in marketing and communications efforts to continuously promote services and products of the association as well as the pmact and benefits of workplace gender equality and inclusivity to meet the vision and objectives of the associaiton. These efforts will be aligned with broader gender equality, inclusivity and women’s empowerment initiatives within the private sector. In addition, the position plays a key role in supporting the association’s sales, marketing, and partnership activities to drive growth and ensure both short- and long-term sustainability. Sales Lead for the achievement of sales growth, annual revenue targets by implementing sales activities, securing new business opportunities. Promote and sell association’s products/services to existing and prospective customers. Identify new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research. Deliver presentations, and attend client meetings. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities. Build the CRM system of the association for long term substainability. Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and contracts as needed. Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Technical, People & Purpose, Finance & Operaiotions, Project) to ensure smooth delivery fulfillment. Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to align with (new) service/product development or delivery. Participate and support in promotional and project activities, including campaigns and events. Assist in recruiting new members and maintaining a high retention rate for existing members. Maintain and manage the necessary data to support sales and business development operations. Identify and manage a pipeline of potential members and clients; review and regularly update client profiles in the departmental database. Develop, prepare and ensure respective sales materials for calls, meetings, and presentations. Lead and maintain strong customer relationship management practices by providing timely, effective communication and engagement with current and potential members and stakeholders. Marketing Lead in the development of marketing strategies and plans to assist sales activities and processes. Manage in the promotion of memberships, services, and programs, including the creation of marketing packages that respond to market demand and communicate clear USPs. Prepare and maintain up-to-date marketing materials for campaigns, events, and outreach, ensuring alignment with association’s brand identity and tone. Ensure all communication content across newsletters, social media, and the website are accurate, timely, and aligned with the association’s communication protocols, branding guidelines, and inclusive language principles. Coordinate and support the production of the e-newsletter and marketing planning for social media, including content drafting, audience targeting, dissemination planning, and sales traffic tracking. Monitor media coverage and ensure the associaiton is represented accurately and positively in all external communications. Support the consistent application and promotion of the associaiton’s brand, including appropriate use of the logo and visual identity by internal and external stakeholders. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure that marketing and communications efforts are responsive to emerging trends and stakeholder sensitivities, including gender, inclusion, and diversity considerations. Support the development of new WGE (Workplace Gender Equality) and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) products and services, ensuring they align with market needs, organisational strategy, and stakeholder expectations. Support in conducting market research to understand customer behavior, competitors, and industry trends. Lead the production of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and videos. Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools. Support in maintaining and update the association’s website and social media platforms regularly. Support lead generation efforts and customer acquisition initiatives. Create and manage targeted marketing planning, including campaign calendars, channel strategies, audiences segmentation, creative briefs, and performance analytics/reporting. Partnership and Collaboration Identify opportunities to strengthen the capacity of partners through appropriate advocacy and communication processes. Prepare and maintain the collaboration and partnership agreements with respective stakeholders on business development and business growth perspectives. Ensure the quality, consistency and appropriateness of all communications materials, activities, processes and messages transmitted to the press, partners and public etc. Other Tasks Support for work plan and budget of the Business Development and Partnership Department, including making sure the budget and expenditure are accurate and spent as planned, target vs actual on activities and work plan/KPIs. Support in updating and producing required reports: weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports and plans. Ensure cost-effective usage and a good Return on Investment (ROI) for organised or participated events or campaigns or activities of the association in an effective, efficient and timely manner. Support events and campaign activities, including but not limited to developing concept notes, AER or ACR, budget and expense, supplier management and contracts for understanding the Return on Investment (ROI), impact and effectiveness with the guidance of supervisor. Perform other tasks assigned by the Country Director and supervisors to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the office and projects.
