What we do

Canadian International College - Myanmar (CIC), established in September 2017, is the first Canada (Ontario) based private secondary school in Myanmar. CIC offers certified courses from Grades 9 to 12 that cater to the educational needs of high school students worldwide. The primary focus of our school is to provide quality secondary education to those students who aspire to obtain an Ontario high school diploma, recognized and accepted by colleges and universities worldwide.

Developing concepts, graphics and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required. Keeping up to date with design and software trends. Liaising with external printers or production teams to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality Collaborate with Marketing team to develop new approaches for creating more-expressive graphics for the company Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
Coordinate with internal staff, clients, and vendors to establish the requirements for an event, and serve as liaison to senior executives, government officials, and industry leaders throughout the planning process Locate resources, visit sites, and lead pre-event meetings to help staff make decisions about event design Managing the design and production of flyers, brochures, posters, banners, and other print materials used for marketing events Planning and promoting events such as sports games, concerts, festivals, and charity fundraisers Managing the budget for an event, including securing sponsorships and negotiating rates with vendors Develop and manage marketing budgets for events and projects. Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment, decor, and marketing materials Oversee client experiences from conception through post-event review; manage on-site preparations, production, and event breakdown; and ensure consistent, high-level service throughout all phases. Build and maintain a comprehensive database of industry contacts, vendors, and venues Researching trends in event planning to develop new ideas for future events
- Build and sustain positive relationships with students, parents, community and elders, and provide input into local decision making to ensure optimum outcomes. - Liaise with students to recognize any educational, social, emotional or behavioral issues. - Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate. - Monitor the behavior and wellbeing of students to identify issues and organize intervention. - Assist the management for Ad-HoD duties.
