Lead and manage the Treasury Department ensuring the effective execution of all treasury operations. Oversee the management of the bank's investment portfolio, including evaluating and recommending investment opportunities. Prepare and present detailed reports on treasury activities, financial performance, and market trends to senior management. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies. Collaborate with Finance Department and other stakeholders to support the bank's overall financial strategy Lead the implementation and ongoing management of IFRS across the bank. Ensure that all financial statements and reports comply with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex accounting issues related to IFRS. Keep abreast of changes in IFRS and other regulatory requirements, and update internal policies and procedures accordingly Conduct training and workshops to educate staff on IFRS standards and practices. Liaise with external auditors, tax auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless audits and compliance reviews. Oversee the management of the bank's share capital. Monitor and manage financial risks.
