What we do

Royal De Heus Group is an international organization with a leading position in the animal feed industry. De Heus was founded in 1911 and has its roots in the Netherlands. After more than a 100 years the company is still owned and managed by the De Heus family.

Since its founding Royal De Heus has expanded from a regional feed company to a feed conglomerate with activities in more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Due to the rapid growth outside the Netherlands the De Heus Group is a global top-15 feed supplier.

Develop production schedules and plans to meet production targets and customer demand. Allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth production process. Controlling production process according to sales order guaranteeing product quality, standard cost, % yield, and managing workforce with efficiency and effectiveness. Supply products fully according to sales order. Meeting deadline as per production plan. Standard yield of production. Supply products fully according to sales order. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet established quality standards. Continuously analyse production processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. QC report of NC, Rework/Reprocess, Damaged products. Production expenses Kg/man, Expense Mmk/Kg. Lead and supervise production teams and Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce. Maintain accurate production records, reports and provide regular production updates. Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and quality control to ensure seamless operations. Skilled and engaged workforce, improved productivity, and effective collaboration among team members. Daily, Weekly, and monthly reports. Reducing NC/damage product, Stable % yield.
Monitoring the cash flow such as budgeting future cash requirements, managing bank balances. Managing the company’s loans such as discussing with lenders and managing loan payback schedules. Maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions to ensure the organization has access to necessary financial services and products. Ensuring necessary bank facilities are in place for future suppliers’ payments, FX procurements after discussing with departments such as Purchasing, Production every month. Preparing financials reports such as cash flow forecast, cash flow overview, USD purchase overview, loan overview, customers’ financing overview. ·Ad hoc responsibility assigned by Head of Treasury.
Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical and electronic systems, including machinery, automation systems, and control panels, to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues, identify root causes, and implement timely solutions to maintain uninterrupted production processes. Participate in equipment upgrade projects, installation of new systems, and process improvement initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement innovative solutions.
Collect, process, and analyze data related to agricultural operations, including crop yields, weather patterns, and market trends. Monitor regional markets to track commodity price trends, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors affecting commodities. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to predict future price movements and supply disruptions. Stay informed about industry news and regulatory changes that could impact commodity procurement. Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and coordinate procurement activities. Weekly purchase economic position and price report. Quarterly Supplier Evaluation of local raw materials.
Performing audits of specific areas within the organization, such as accounts payable, provision, prepaid, inventory and sale. Monthly cash in hand and bank balance checking. Reconciliation Trial bank balance with bank statements. Checking accuracy of Fixed asset register. Weekly cheque balance and cheque payment documentation checking. Attending monthly physical stock count and give feedback for improvements. Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting to ensure that adequate internal controls exist. Supporting the business in rolling out group internal control framework. Supporting the business with following up the recommendations in the Group Internal Audit reports. Compiling and presenting findings in written and verbal forms to related management. Hosting stock count feedback meeting Scheduling stock count manpower list. Communicate with external audit. To perform Ad hoc responsibility assigned by Deputy Finance Manager.
Check the electrical system daily, make sure the system work well Check the electrical system regularly according to the maintenance supervisor’s plan. Repair the electrical systems, troubleshooting the problems in products shift, make sure the electrical system and equipments always work and in good condition. Perform installation and assigment given by Maintenance Supervisor. Work offcie hours, manage and supervise when Maintenance supervisor is absent. Support the production department in maintenance and reparing the electrical systems.
Build up maximum stocks level in each depot. Daily/Monthly Report, Expired Report. Arrange feed order plan as per Sale Team Plan and stevedore management. Checked the stocks card. Working time, Loading/Unloading, Fire, WH area cleaning etc. ISO/GG related activities.
Ensure a safe working environment. Identify unsafe and risky situations and / or violations. Immediately take of measures to unsafe situations and feedback to relevant stakeholder(s) Advise and assist Management and employees with (potential) unsafe situations. Implement and monitor measures / required adjustments. Report on actions / modifications required. Develop health, safety, and environmental policies to facilitate a safe working environment. Co-create and manage annual objectives and safety goals. Define quality, safety, occupational health, and environmental standards and set annual HSE goals. Develop and implement HSE policy in compliance with the applicable legislations. Change HSE policy into concrete practices, procedures etc. Share the knowledge and train colleagues in the field of HSE. Educate and instruct (new) employees on HSE and HACCP regulations within the organization. Provide exercises and training in the field of food safety and HSE, if needed using external agencies. Educate yourself and stay up to date with governmental laws and regulations and other external authorities in the field of HSE management. Study of developments and changed laws and regulations. Liaison with the external authorities with regard to HSE management. Status of EIA-IEE-SR reporting progresses. Cooperation with third parties to accomplish the comments of the ECD or governments. Able to liaise with the relevant Ministry. Proposal of the budget estimating with requirements of projects.
