The Service Technician position will be responsible for the generator servicing, commissioning and installation, troubleshooting (Especially on electrical and mechanical problem solving) and repairs performed mainly with Cummins Deisel generators. Developing and Implementing HSE Policies and Procedures: Responsible for developing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies that comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Policies address potential hazards and risks specific to the organization's operations. Training and Education: Conducting regular training sessions to educate employees on HSE protocols, procedures, and best practices. This includes training on handling hazardous materials, emergency response procedures, and safety protocols for specific tasks or equipment. Risk Assessment and Management: Identifying potential workplace hazards and conducting risk assessments to determine the likelihood and severity of accidents or incidents. Based on the assessments, develop strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigating accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents to determine the root causes and implement corrective action.
