Job Summary Edulink Myanmar is seeking a Study Abroad Counsellor to guide students and families through university selection, applications, test requirements, and visa preparation. This role combines counselling, admissions support, and recruitment activities in a student-focused environment. Key Responsibilities ● Assess student profiles and recommend suitable universities, courses, countries, and study pathways. ● Advise students on entry requirements, IELTS/TOEFL/SAT/GRE/GMAT scores, and application strategy. ● Support application preparation, deadline tracking, scholarship guidance, and document follow-up. ● Provide visa and post-admission guidance, including study plans, transitions, and next steps. ● Maintain accurate student records, progress updates, and outcome reports for management review. ● Assist with recruitment events, school visits, webinars, and marketing activities to attract students. ● Communicate clearly with students and families, offering personalized and step-by-step counselling.
● Prepare and deliver effective General English lessons in accordance with the curriculum. ● Teach IELTS and ESP programs (including Business English). ● Teach Myanmar language classes. ● Teach in both face to face and online modes. ● Monitor, coach, and engage with self-study students using the online only materials. ● Ensure records are maintained accurately, are well organised and easily accessible. ● Placement testing. ● Participate in centre functions and activities. ● Other responsibilities as per policy.
-Guide students in choosing suitable universities and programs -Prepare and submit university applications -Handle visa documentation and online applications -Advise students on entry requirements (IELTS, GPA, pathway) -Assist to check SOP and financial documents -Provide pre-departure briefing -Maintain student records and track deadlines
Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential markets Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with clients and partners Support the development and execution of strategic business plans Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support decision-making Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation Assist in contract negotiation and deal closure processes Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of business strategies
● Identify and follow up on sales opportunities online , on site ( events ,education fairs and so on ) and off site according to strategic plan ● Identify and understand customers’ needs and provide solutions on how our services can address them . ● Process sales through to full payment. ● Provide ongoing support to customers with customer service department ● Respond to customer enquiries as needed. ● Record information as required and maintain accurate records. ● Ensure important information is transmitted to relevant staff and departments ● Strong awareness of working field and adapt to evolving market trends
