Job Overview The main responsibility is to effectively execute communications and emergency response to one of our client as well as to monitor and analyze the security situation in Yangon, delivering this information in a timely manner to the client. Responsibilities & Authorities Communications and emergency response Acts as the single point of contact for all emergencies, communications, and transportation dispatching for one of our clients in Myanmar Monitors tracking devices, duress alarms, and initiate response as per standard operating procedures (SoPs) Monitors Mission Plans and tracks staff movement Operates all emergency communications equipment to include, satellite phone, landline, vehicle and personal tracking monitoring, emergency SMS system and mobile phone Ensures that the tracking technology and all emergency communications equipment is functioning, reporting all faults to the Contract Manager (Security Specialist) Oversees and monitors the CCTV system Maintains communications with the client's travelers Maintains and revises emergency contact numbers for the Contractor’s Operation Center, the UN SOC, international organizations, diplomatic missions, international and host government security forces, and the client's Headquarters 24/7 SOC Maintains current list of contact numbers and place of residence for all international and national client's staff and visiting missions Serves as command-and-control center for emergency situations by maintaining communications with guard force personnel and Security Specialist (Contract Manager) Alerts staff and residents to any external threat or fire/life safety situation in accordance with established procedures Information capture and data gathering Monitors English and Myanmar-language news outlets and other information sources on a daily basis to collect information about the security situation in Yangon Maintains security data base of all reported incidents and drafts routine reports as directed Works closely with EXERA to ensure that timely, accurate and complete information is communicated to client and recorded in the database Briefs to the client on the security situation in Yangon on a regular basis The above statements are a snapshot of the duties and responsibilities of the role and are not intended to be an exhaustive list.
