The Assistant Manager of Tax and Audit is responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of tax and audit engagements. This role involves providing support to the tax and audit team, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to the overall success of the department. Taxation: Assist in the preparation and review of corporate, individual, and other tax returns. Conduct research on tax laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure compliance. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax-related information. Support the development and implementation of tax planning strategies. Audit: Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements. Review financial statements and related documentation for accuracy and compliance. Perform substantive and analytical audit procedures. Identify and communicate audit issues to senior management. Provide guidance and support to clients in understanding tax and audit processes. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the tax and audit team to achieve departmental goals. Train and mentor junior staff members. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Compliance: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and audit regulations. Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls.
Team Management: Supervise maintenance technicians and staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring performance. Workflow Coordination: Coordinate maintenance activities, schedules, and priorities to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime. Equipment Inspection: Oversee regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues and ensure proper functioning. Troubleshooting: Assist maintenance personnel in diagnosing equipment problems and developing solutions to address them promptly. Training and Development: Provide training and support to maintenance staff to enhance skills, knowledge, and safety awareness. Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies in all maintenance activities. Inventory Management: Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance tasks. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory status for management review. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance procedures and records for reference and compliance purposes.
