Process Optimization & Efficiency: Analyze current production methods and implement strategies (like lean Manufacturing or six Sigman to improve workflow, reduce waste and maximize productivity Production Planning & Management : Create and maintain production schedules, prioritize job orders and ensure efficient utilization of machinery, materials and labor to meet targets Quality control & Compliance : Develop and implement quality control protocols, ensure products meet specifications, and enforce compliance with relevant industry standards (eg., ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP. Equipment & Maintenance : Oversee the installation, maintenance, and trouble shooting of production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and prevent electrical/mechanical faults Safety & Environment : Establish and enforce safety procedures and protocols, conduct daily safety checks and report unsafe practices to ensure a secure working environment Documentation & Reporting: Prepare product and process reports, track daily production figures, manage documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and present progress to management Team Leadership & support : Supervise, train and provide technical support and guidance to production operators to foster development and ensure smooth operations Cost Management : Identify opportunities for cost reduction in labor, materials and materials and expenses while maintaining high quality standards
