What we do

Irrawaddy Green Towers (IGT) is enabling communications revolution into a significant new phase of Myanmar Telecom market. We are currently rolling out telecom towers for all the major operators including Telenor, Ooredoo and MPT. IGT currently has more than 275 employees, including a mix of Myanmar citizens and expatriates. Our promotors and board members are citizens of Canada, India, and the United States.

Our sponsors include a number of very experienced telecom and energy EPC investors and executives from Alcazar Capital Limited, a venture capital firm focused on investing in specialized infrastructure in frontier markets whose principals founded one of Vietnam’s largest independent tower companies; M1 Group, who are principal owners of a number of large telecom companies including MTN; Barons Telelink, a local Myanmar company (we are the only tower company with any local ownership); and founding senior executives of SBA Communications (the third-largest publicly listed tower company in the world), Sprint, Helios, and others.
