We are seeking a highly capable Operations General Manager / Assistant General Manager to lead daily factory operations and drive performance excellence. Role Overview The Operations General Manager / Assistant General Manager is the overall leader of factory operations , fully responsible for production performance, cost control, quality, people management, and operational discipline. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role requiring strong execution capability and the ability to manage multiple departments under one unified objective: stable, efficient, and profitable factory operations . Key Responsibilities 1. Factory Operations & Production Take full responsibility for daily factory operations and production output Ensure production targets, efficiency levels, and delivery schedules are consistently met Monitor and improve productivity, machine utilization, and workflow efficiency Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and operational disruptions 2. Cost Control & Performance Management Control key operational costs including labor, utilities, maintenance, and consumables Track and analyze operational KPIs such as production output, wastage, efficiency, and downtime Implement corrective actions when performance deviates from agreed targets 3. Quality & Process Control Ensure consistent product quality in line with company and customer standards Strengthen SOPs, quality checks, and process discipline across departments Work closely with technical teams and foreign technicians when required 4. People & Department Management Lead and manage all factory-based departments, including Production, Maintenance, Warehouse, HR/Admin, and Support Functions Build accountability among supervisors and department heads Coach, train, and develop mid-level management and key operators Enforce discipline, safety standards, and professional working culture 5. Coordination & Reporting Prepare regular operational reports for management review Coordinate with Head Office functions such as Commercial, Procurement, and Finance
