He/she oversees each phase of the installation, equipment maintenance or product development so that the team meets company specifications and complies with federal and state regulations.Specific duties may vary widely, according to the type of job and the field of engineering. Most assignments, however, would require that a deputy chief engineer. A deputy chief engineer can have many different working environments, such as an outdoor construction site, an office, or a production factory, they have many responsibilities as well. These often include duties related to the procurement of project resources, the development of plans for the various phases of a project, and overseeing the manufacturing process. A deputy chief engineer also requires strong leadership skills, as they are responsible for assigning engineers with specific tasks, as well as handling any disputes that might arise between team members. The Assistant Civil Engineer can work for the Road & Bridges also Building construction as assigned Supervise works as requested to conform with construction quality & progress Provide technical support during construction and site showround Check site drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness Coordinates with sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants Prepare reports and document project activities for management reporting Participates in site works, inspection and planning with conducting proper risk assessment to ensure risks are minimized Survey the completed work volume performed by sub-contractors Perform site activities planning to ensure adherence to project timeline Perform and report other assignments as requested by Superior
Assist with and manage all accounting associated with the construction projects, including construction job-related billings, accounts payable, change orders, and investigate variances Responsible for month-end activities such as miscellaneous journal entries, project job costing, project budget analysis, construction-related account reconciliations, and supporting project managers with special projects and analysis Maintaining or reviewing accounting files, performing monthly closings, and preparing/ organizing various reports, financial forms, and analyses. Responsible for reviewing the daily cash flow, vouchers and intends Responsible for recording all the transactions in the cash book and computer system Manage and control budgeting and other cash receivable Ensuring all payment amounts and records are accurate for authorization of the disbursement Summarize daily cash flow and ensure daily cash balancing/reconciliation Perform other duties, as and when assigned
Monitor, maintain, and provision virtual machines (VMs) and hosts. Assist with resource allocation, basic host health checks, snapshot management, and backups Administer Windows Server environments (2016 through 2025). Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy Objects (GPOs), user permissions, and services including DNS and DHCP. Manage Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online including mailboxes, groups, online archives. Troubleshoot mail flow anomalies, email delivery and multi-factor authentication (MFA) issues. Provide service-focused IT operations support by provisioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows desktops, laptops, IT peripherals and related applications via remote access tools or phone support as necessary. Provide baseline network support, including user Wi-Fi provisioning, access point troubleshooting, and fundamental VLAN (Virtual Local Area Network) configuration and segmentation.
Answer and direct phone calls and respond to emails. Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional manner. Maintain and organize office files, documents, and records. Perform data entry and update databases accurately. Prepare, photocopy, scan, and distribute documents. Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars. Manage office supplies and place orders when needed. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence. Support other departments with administrative tasks as required. Ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and functional. Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
