Responsible for primary level Chinese language teaching and implementation of the School’s teaching standards and requirements to ensure quality language teaching Develop and implement scientifically proven teaching plans and methodologies based on age groups and learning traits Design homework and provide guidance to students, customize methodologies according to student needs, coaching them patiently and encourage them to explore more Participate in researches organized by the School to enhance professionalism and teaching skills on an ongoing basis; Gain thorough understanding towards learning and other aspects of each student, deliver outcome-oriented education and maintain active dialogues with parents about student learning
The early years teacher is responsible for the general supervision and management of a classroom. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Teaching Plan, supervise, and implement child directed classroom programs that are emergent and inquiry based as well as in accordance with the policies of the school. Gear program to needs of individual children, as well as the whole group, with concern for their interests, abilities, talents and individual style, and pace of learning. Engage in ongoing evaluation and assessment procedures needed to assess children’s developmental levels and support curriculum planning. Implement methods for effectively integrating the support, skills, and talents of the teaching team members in all areas of the classroom environment. Administration Assume an equal share of staff joint housekeeping responsibilities. Maintain ordered arrangement, appearance, decor, and learning environment of the classroom, with a clear focus on documentation of the children’s work.
