What we do

MGE is employing equipment and services of some well-known international suppliers in glass industry. AGC Ceramics is responsible for designing and building the furnace and forehearths, while China’s Shanghai Precision was awarded the batch plant contract. Forming equipment has been sourced from Bottero and Revimac, while Italian enterprise Antonini is responsible for delivering the annealing lehrs. Specialist inspection equipment has been sourced from IRIS Inspection machines and Tiama, while Ruitai Technology (China) has been contracted to build and install the cold end handling and palletizing equipment. Our furnace has four production lines equipped with high-tech inspection machines for controlled AQL. Each furnace line can produce 100-168 bottles per minutes. Annually, our factory has capacity to produce around 90,000 Mt of glass bottles. With its daily 300MT capacity, our factory produces Finest Quality grade glass bottle sizes ranging from 250 ml to 700 ml.

Position Overview: The Safety Officer (Supervisor Position) is responsible for supporting the organization in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with safety standards, company policies, and applicable regulations. The role involves proactive monitoring, education, reporting, and emergency response to prevent workplace hazards and promote a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities: Daily Observation: Conduct daily observations for Unsafe Acts (UA) and Unsafe Conditions (UC), inform the employee to correct UA, and notify the relevant department for immediate action to address UC. Monitor and enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Identify and address violations of company rules and regulations. Toolbox Meetings: Participate in daily toolbox meetings with various departments. Share safety knowledge and awareness, summarize recent accident cases, and collect feedback. Facilitate discussions to address department-specific safety concerns. Checklist Inspections: Inspect and update safety checklists daily. Identify and rectify non-conformities promptly. Reporting: Report all observations to the superior for prompt response and necessary action Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports to the SHE Lead/ SHE Manager in line with KPI guidelines. Contractor Safety Management: Ensure contractors comply with PPE requirements, safety standards, and Permit to Work (PTW) protocols. Safety Education: Continuously educate employees by sharing safety knowledge and best practices. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to incidents and accidents as per emergency guidelines. Investigate and report unusual events, including near-misses, incidents, and accidents. Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other safety-related tasks assigned by the SHE Lead/ SHE Manager.
Conduct routine inspection, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of MEP systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil) in accordance with corrective & preventive maintenance. Responsibility for plan & assign to facility technicians across HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil related repairs, services and maintenance activities. Supervise and provide technical solution with technician for daily facility maintenance work, emergency maintenance activities and ensure for timely completion. Monitoring, control and supervision on MEP related projects according to the instruction of Facility Engineer. Assist to Facility Engineer and Project Design Drafter for MEP related development projects site survey, inspection, commission & testing. Monitoring technician performance and providing on-the-job training to manage the daily workload. Manage suppliers and oversee installation activities to ensure quality and timeline adherence. Effective communication & interpersonal skills. Strong leadership, team management, time management, and decision-making skills. Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and safety guidelines. Prepare regular progress reports and attend project meetings. Other duties were assigned by the Facility Engineer.
Check and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in Excel and ERP system. Check Cash Book and record cash / bank transactions in ERP system. Conduct cash / bank reconciliations. Check and reconcile monthly AP / AR balances. Any other tasks assigned by Finance Manager as and when necessary.

Checking the bottle at the end of production line. Collecting data of the bottle at the end of production line and calculating percentage of the daily yield (%pack) Gathering bottles and sending to the warehouse and logistic section and accounting / finance and filling on the delivery sheet to the warehouse. Checking the box-tray usage as a daily basis for daily withdraw to the end of the production line. Collecting the box-tray withdrawing at the end of the line to tracking the final product box-tray and the box-tray loss each month. Collecting results in the overview of production and summarizing the yield and % PACK of every month. Recoding machinery lose time as a daily basis and reporting monthly summary. Checking the work time of staffs in the Glass Production Department. Submitting the leave document of Glass Production Department staff to HR. Checking the working hours and overtime payment of staffs and subcontract staffs (if any) in the Glass Production Department. Carrying out all activities related to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) Any related tasks.
