Accounts Payable (AP) Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable cycle, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and paid in a timely manner. Manage vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and maintain the vendor master file. Ensure proper authorization and coding of all expenditures in accordance with company policy. Prepare and execute electronic payments, wire transfers, and ACH transactions. Reconcile vendor statements and manage the company's expense reporting system. Accounts Receivable (AR) Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing, payment application, and collections activities. Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and execute a proactive collections strategy. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes in a professional and timely manner. Maintain the customer master file and ensure accurate credit management. Prepare regular aging reports and provide analysis on AR status and bad debt risk. Inventory Accounting Oversee all inventory-related accounting activities, including cost valuation, reconciliation, and reporting. Perform month-end closing procedures for inventory, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Analyze and report on inventory levels, turnover, and obsolescence; lead the periodic physical inventory count and cycle count programs. Ensure accurate costing of inventory (FIFO, Weighted Average, etc.) and investigate significant variances. Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory movements.
Administrative Support Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the HR & Admin Department. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents, and courier services. Maintain filing systems (both electronic and paper-based) for easy retrieval. Handle office supplies requisition and ensure sufficient stock levels. Office and Facility Management Support in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the office environment. Coordinate with maintenance vendors and service providers (cleaning, water, internet, etc.). Monitor and control office equipment usage (printers, copiers, stationery, etc.). Logistics and Procurement Support Assist in arranging travel, transportation, and accommodation for staff and management. Collect quotations and prepare purchase requests for office materials and supplies. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and delivery receipts. The Tax Manager (or Assistant Manager) is responsible for ensuring full tax compliance and optimizing tax planning for Power X. This role oversees all tax-related matters including corporate income tax, commercial tax, withholding tax, and other statutory filings in accordance with Myanmar tax laws. The position also supports financial reporting, audits, and provides strategic tax advice to management for effective decision-making. Tax Compliance & Reporting Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns (Corporate Income Tax, Commercial Tax, Withholding Tax, SGT, etc.). Maintain complete and up-to-date tax records and documentation. Liaise with the Internal Revenue Department (IRD) and external auditors as required. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations; assess their impact on the company. Prepare annual tax computations and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards. Tax Planning & Advisory Provide advice on tax-efficient business practices and cost-saving opportunities. Assist in strategic decision-making by evaluating tax implications of business activities. Support management on investment, import/export, and contractual matters from a tax perspective. Audit & Coordination Support annual financial audits and tax audits. Coordinate with internal teams and external tax consultants. Address queries from auditors and regulatory bodies in a timely manner. Process Improvement Implement best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency in tax management. Train and guide accounting staff on tax processes and updates.
