What we do

Pun Hlaing Hospitals (PHH) is owned by FMI (Diversified Conglomerate and the first listed company on the Yangon Stock Exchange) 60% and OUE Healthcare (Listed on the Catalist Board of Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited) 40%.

With 3 hospitals across Yangon, Mandalay and Taunggyi, 2 medical towers in downtown Dagon Township and North Dagon Township and 4 primary care clinics in San Chaung, Star City, Thingangyun and Pya Pone region, we are continuously improving and expanding to achieve our vision of "Reach".

Pun Hlaing Hospital Hlaing Tharyar, being the flagship state-of-the-art 170 bed general hospital, is in Pun Hlaing Estate in the Hlaing Tharyar Township, Yangon. It is the only hospital in Myanmar to be awarded the prestigious Gold Seal of Approval for patient safety and quality by the Joint Commission International (JCI), USA.

PHH has a unique model in Myanmar, in that it had full time specialist doctors who are dedicated to the institution within a departmental structure across most major specialties. Over 95% of the specialist doctors are Myanmar doctors with extensive experience in countries such as USA, UK, Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. • Oversee all MEP systems, including the RO water system, water storage system, fire prevention system, generator, and plumbing system. • Ensure building maintenance is up to date and compliant with JCI Facility Management and Safety standards • Manage M&E repair work to be within the budget • Implement PPM for all MEP items, including the RO, generator, AC, and PABX system. • Prepare daily reports related to PPM and CM task

To perform tasks (duties) according to Professional staff by laws, Myanmar medical council law & law relating to private health care services. For notifiable communicable disease, Medical Officer shall follow management guideline for proper reporting to township health authorities and referral of patient. Responsible for entering employee data into our HR system, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of all HR information. Organize new employee orientations and assist in developing training programs and support employee engagement and wellness initiatives Monitor and record all types of leaves, both manual and using HRMS system, to ensure accurate records. Monitor employee daily attendance and overtime, ensuring compliance with company policies. Collect and manage duty rosters for various departments and update this information in HRMS. Assist in posting job openings, collecting resumes, scheduling interviews, and tracking candidate backgrounds for recruitment. Responsible to take part in routine daily inspection of equipment and quality assurance procedures and to keep record in service logbook. To report any defects, problems, or occurrences that might affect safety either directly to Imaging Manager or Senior Radiographer. Responsible for general cleanliness, tidiness and safety of the Department, with specific responsibility for his/her own work area and to familiarize him/herself with current infection control procedures. Responsible to check the exam order list at the start of the day and perform necessary preparation for the examination. Responsible to follow radiation safety standards for the protection of health workers, the public and patients against the dangers of ionizing radiation in relation to medical exposure. Responsible to maintain high standard of Radiography and quality service for patients by ensuring that every patient is treated in terms of courtesy, compassion, efficiency and confidentiality and to input informative technical note on PACS as directed by Imaging Manager. Responsible to practice all radiographic and imaging procedures by the Standard Operating Procedure Responsible to maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers. Responsible to input in stock ledger for the materials used in specific examination. Responsible to carry out other duties as directed by Imaging Manager, Clinical Specialist or Senior Radiographer in area where working.
