Right Start International Montessori School is looking to appoint enthusiastic Assistant Teachers for Early Years to Year 6. These positions are open to newly qualified persons, or someone interested in pursuing teaching as a career. Our vision is to follow the whole child and to nurture their love of learning. Tasks include, but not limited to: Ensure health and safety of children at all times Supporting toddlers (~18 months-3 years) to dress, eat, toilet, sleep independently Clean & prepare classroom each day Support colleagues with end of day closing duties. Help students individually or in small groups with assignments and reinforce learning and retention concepts under the supervision of classroom teacher Perform other duties assigned by school principal Supervise students during school and extracurricular activities Monitor students during recess and lunch hour Assist students with integration into the classroom and school setting Monitor and report student progress to classroom teacher Monitor and report student progress to classroom teacher
