Position Title: Sales Executive / Sales Engineer Department: Sales & Marketing Report To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager Job Summary Responsible for driving sales and business growth for Cut & Bend services, Rebar Couplers, and Threading solutions by connecting with construction projects, main contractors, sub-contractors, and structural engineers. Key Responsibilities Market Exploration & Lead Generation: Identify and connect with new construction projects, main contractors, sub-contractors, and structural consultants to generate potential sales leads. Technical Presentation & Solution Selling: Present the operational and financial benefits of Cut & Bend, Coupler, and Threading systems (e.g., cost savings, scrap reduction, time efficiency, and quality compliance) to project owners and engineers. Quotation & Negotiation: Analyze structural drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations, negotiating contracts to close sales deals. Project Coordination: Coordinate closely with the Factory Operations and Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of processed materials to project sites according to the project schedule. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while continuously identifying new business opportunities. Payment Collection: Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and ensure timely collection of payments from clients according to agreed credit terms.
Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development Identify, target, and acquire prospective clients (Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Civil Foundation Companies, and Developers) for ongoing and upcoming construction projects. Cut & Bend & Threading Services: Present value propositions focusing on reduced scrap waste, labor savings, and site efficiency to structural contractors. Rebar Coupler Sales: Promote and sell couplers by demonstrating technical compliance and cost-effectiveness over traditional lap splicing. Sheet Pile (Sales & Rental): Secure sales and rental agreements for foundation and retaining wall projects (cofferdams, basements, riverbank protection). Prepare formal quotations, present tenders, negotiate terms, and close sales contracts. Coordinate with the operational/factory team to ensure timely order delivery and follow up on client payments (accounts receivable). 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders including Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement Teams, and Consultants. Conduct regular site visits to assess client needs, gather feedback, and resolve technical or logistical concerns promptly. 3. Market Intelligence & Strategy Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments within the steel fabrication and construction sector. Identify project leads through industry networking, tender portals, and site mapping. Collaborate with the marketing team to provide site case studies, photos, and customer feedback for marketing materials.
