The Project Director will provide strategic leadership and ultimate accountability for the successful execution of our utility-scale renewable project. The Director will serve as the primary senior representative for all key external stakeholders, including investors, joint venture partners, major EPC contractors, PMC Members, Suppliers, Consultants, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions for driving strategic decision-making to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. This senior role is responsible for the overall project P & L, directing the full project team, and ensuring the initiative meets all financial, technical, safety, and regulatory objectives. Lead the overall project management of a renewable energy project from pre-construction through to commercial operation date (COD). Provide ultimate executive leadership, strategic direction, and full P & L accountability for the end-to-end delivery of the renewable energy project, from final development through to commercial operation. Establish and govern the project's strategic objectives, critical success factors, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with corporate goals and investor expectations. Lead, mentor, and integrate the entire senior project team, including project managers, engineering leads, and commercial/contracts managers, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing unit. Serve as the primary senior representative and relationship manager for all key external stakeholders, including investors, joint venture partners, major EPC contractors, PMC Members, Suppliers, Consultants, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions. Make the clear decisions on major project risks, opportunities, and change orders, approving significant variations to budget, schedule, and scope. Oversee the project's financial health, including the approval of high-value contracts, major procurement decisions, and comprehensive monthly financial reporting to the executive board. Develop and manage the project execution plan, including detailed schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Manage the interconnection process with the local transmission system operator and ensure compliance with all grid connection requirements. Overview contracts, review payment, and manage the change order process to control project costs and scope. Facilitate the commissioning, testing, and performance acceptance procedures for the solar plant and its associated electrical balance of system. Ensure the project maintains the highest standards of compliance, and ethical conduct, while meeting all ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) commitments. Ensure a seamless transition of the completed asset to the long-term Operations & Maintenance (O & M) team and formally present the project for final acceptance and closure to the executive committee.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Effective execution of all projects. To assist project Partner as per obligation of Agreement. To Consult with internal and external advisors as well as projects consultant for the effective execution of all projects. To achieve good reputation and image for the Company with government, Ministry of Electricity and Energy, Regional Governments and General Public. To get the company’s right and Optimum such as Targeted EIRR, Premium, LNG Supply, Sub con and O&M. To be responsible for protect and prevent on STCL’s interest. To coordinate and cooperate with PR Team for governmental approval. To be handling Project Developmental issues for government approval in timely. To assist for review and enhance on Strategic development for Special Projects. To assist with Director to develop and implement plans for the Projects. be responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s Operations Strategy and the ownership. Managing partner relationships (including reporting) and to control & monitoring the JV company. Develop processes and data systems to enable effective analysis, estimation and decision-making. Develop and inspire a team to implement the strategy and to achieve objectives and targets. Coordinate and review annual business plan and quarterly forecast process for the Company. Prepare reports, budgets forecasts, and present them when required. Provide leadership consultation to management.
