We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physics Teacher to deliver the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) Physics curriculum to high school students. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, a commitment to student-centered learning, and the ability to create engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with OSSD standards. Teach Physics courses in accordance with the Ontario Curriculum for Grades 11 and 12. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Use a variety of assessment tools (formative and summative) to evaluate student progress. Provide continuous feedback and academic support to students. Prepare and submit course outlines, unit plans, and final evaluations to the academic department. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Collaborate with principal and other teacher to ensure cross-curricular alignment. Participate in professional development and OSSD-related training sessions. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administration. Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

As a Science Teacher, you will create a stimulating learning environment that fosters academic excellence, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. You will also support students’ holistic development by guiding them through projects, lab activities, and inquiry-based learning approaches. Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons according to the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum (OSSD). Teach one or more areas of science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) based on expertise and program needs. Develop lesson plans, assignments, laboratory activities, and assessments that encourage curiosity and scientific inquiry. Utilize diverse teaching strategies and modern technology to engage students. Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing regular feedback. Prepare students for OSSD assessments, evaluations, and examinations. Support students’ individual learning needs and provide academic guidance. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. Participate in faculty meetings, training, workshops, and school events. Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to maintain academic quality and school standards.
