Conduct detailed technical site surveys to assess structural, electrical, and environmental suitability for solar installations. Analyze customer energy consumption patterns and determine optimal system size and specifications and calculate energy production estimates, system losses, and performance metrics. Familiar with solar array layouts, wiring diagrams, and system schematics drawings. Suggest and select appropriate components, including solar modules, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and monitoring systems, based on project requirements. Manage the installation of all system components, including panel mounting, inverter and battery setup, and all associated AC/DC electrical wiring. Perform comprehensive system testing, commissioning, and start-up procedures and conduct final quality inspections and ensure all work complies with best practices. Diagnose and resolve any technical issues that arise during or after installation. Train clients on the proper operation and basic maintenance of their new system. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, as-built records, commissioning reports, and user manuals. Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager.
