A. Product Development & Innovation Develop new and improve existing products and processes aligned with product concepts, sensory profiles, nutritional targets, cost objectives, and timelines. Translate market and consumer insights into commercially viable formulations. Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot/plant trials to refine formulations and processes. Ensure product scalability from laboratory to full production. B. Project Management & Execution Support the R&D Team Lead in planning and executing R&D initiatives and projects. Manage multiple development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Apply structured project management principles to track progress, risks, and deliverables. C. Raw Materials & Supplier Qualification Evaluate, qualify, and approve raw materials, ingredients, flavors, and packaging materials prior to use. Identify and assess alternative suppliers to ensure continuity, cost efficiency, and quality compliance. Conduct revalidation activities through testing and product application trials. D. Process Development & Commercialization Establish and document process parameters, including critical control points for raw materials (RM), packaging materials (PM), products, and manufacturing processes. Lead plant trials and initial production runs, providing hands-on technical support. Assess readiness and capability of production lines for commercial manufacturing. Assist in line commissioning and equipment validation. E. Quality, Food Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable food laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP). Continuously monitor updates in regulatory requirements and incorporate them into product development. Support and strengthen quality assurance programs related to food processing and storage conditions. Respond to and support all Quality & Food Safety Management Systems and audits. F. Documentation & Standardization Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including: SOPs (product and process) Work instructions for production Troubleshooting guides SAP-related master data and documentation Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with company standards. G. Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement Provide technical support to manufacturing and regional affiliates for product and process issues. Co-lead with QA and Production in root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Identify and implement improvement projects to enhance product quality, production efficiency, and cost optimization. H. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Marketing, Manufacturing, QA, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment from concept to commercialization. Provide technical input during product concept development and commercialization planning. I. Training & Capability Building Conduct technical training for Manufacturing and Quality Assurance teams on new products and processes. Mentor and guide junior R&D Scientists to ensure technical competency and development. J. Leadership & Supervision Supervise and guide R&D Scientists to ensure proper execution of development activities. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. K. Other Responsibilities Perform duties as required under the Quality Management System (QMS). Undertake additional assignments as directed by management.
Processing (analyzing and recording) AR and cash transactions in SAP system related to but not limited to sales transactions and cash disbursement transactions. Responsible for check preparation and monitoring of cash disbursements Petty Cash Custodian, responsible for monitoring and recording petty cash transactions Monitoring and maintaining Bank Accounts and doing manual monthly bank reconciliation. Maintaining accounting files and information Performs other duties as assigned from time to time. Daily Output - Payment Voucher and Petty Cash Voucher preparation Monthly Output – Monthly cash disbursement report, Petty Cash Liquidation, and manual bank reconciliation.
A. General Prepares job requests and personnel’s work schedule based on the weekly plan of operations. Ensures all materials (Raw, Packaging, Cleaning, Consumable) needed in the operations are in the production floor. Ensures that the surroundings are cleaned, sanitized and machines in good running condition. Supervises all production activities in his shift and ensure normal production run. Implements Company rules and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and responsible for employee discipline Monitors and analyze performance of operations and initiates action plans for continuous improvement. Accomplishes and collates daily reports (Daily Production Report, Inventory, CAR’s, etc.) on line operation for submission to Production Manager. Informs the Production Manager all matters affecting cost efficient operations, product quality and timely delivery of goods. Prepares reports for major machine breakdown that occurs during his shift operations. Ensures all machines are properly shut down and Standard Cleaning Procedures are followed. Checks cleanliness of machines, surroundings, orderliness of the line and ensures all materials (good and rejects) are properly placed in designated areas or disposed. Checks all machines are turned off before leaving the line. Performs recruitment and selection process to ensure that suitable applicants are placed in identified vacancies for Operator positions Carries out disciplinary actions from suspension to termination of employees. Performs other duties as assigned from time to time B. Quality Ensures that the standard set specifications are being met to attain good quality product. C. Food Safety Performs management and control of assigned production line. Ensures the personnel are aware of the relevance and importance of individual activities in contributing to food safety. Ensures the effective communication so that Food Safety Management System (FSMS) is understood by all personnel whose activities have an impact on food safety. Ensures that all production activities are in accordance with the established integrated system. Review production shift performance against established quality objectives, provide suggestions and implement corrections, corrective and preventive actions. Other responsibilities as specified in the established IMS.
Generates accurate sales data, collects the necessary information and validates as necessary, consolidates all the necessary information for the department. Prepare and provides weekly and monthly sales analysis based on the Sell-In-Value ( SIV – purchase of Distributor both from URC Thailand and Myanmar ) and Sales-To-Trade ( STT of Distributor to the account ). Support his/her department to ensure achievement of required volume and objectives. Organize, prepare, facilitate, encodes and coordinate the necessary documents for stocks allocation, sales order, delivery of approved sales order of URC Direct Customers. Encodes and prepares all the necessary documentation in the SAP system. Preparation of sales order using VMI Prepares memos for discounts, collection shortage/overage and other adjustments to A/R. Prepare and monitor Distributor Claims to URC both Thailand and Myanmar Generates, collects and coordinate to-date accurate warehouse floor inventory and in-transit deliveries from URC Thailand / Myanmar and Distributor. E. Monitoring of Trade Activations Monitor the execution of approved trade calendar of activities. Attends to customer queries/concerns on promos, product availability and pricing.
Ensures the good operational condition of all production machinery, equipment and utility by implementing appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance measures to avoid disruption in all plant operations Initiates, executes and supervises accomplishment of maintenance plant projects from beginning until end by ensuring technical soundness, good workmanship, and strict quality control to meet the objectives of the plant Plans, formulates and implements work improvement methods for an efficient and effective plant operation by identifying performance gaps and weaknesses on the current system Ensures efficient utilization of company equipment, machinery and utilities to achieve cost and effective measures of usage to maximize company assets and capital Regularly coordinates with the Plant Manager to provide updates regarding plant operations especially with irregularities and problems experienced through the preparation of different reports Coordinates with the technical services department and corporate maintenance support group on the mobilization procurement of imported spare parts, preventive maintenance scheduling and categorized central ordering of consumable materials, chemicals, and lubricants and other engineering and technical concerns Coordinates with Logistics, QA and Production Department regarding the implementation of engineering and maintenance issues such as safety, security, sanitary and improvements Strictly implements administrative policies and guidelines, such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and other Quality Systems to promote discipline and proper work attitude to all maintenance personnel Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior from time to time Ensures that the standard set specifications are being met to attain good quality product. Management and control of plant Engineering and Maintenance Department Ensures that all maintenance activities are in accordance with the established Integrated Management System (IMS). Responsible for the calibration of measuring equipment. Review departmental performance against established objectives, develop and implement action plan towards its attainment.
