What we do

World Concern Myanmar (WCM) has been implementing relief and development programming in Myanmar since 1995. We focus on working with needy communities to identify their needs and strengths; then finding ways to address those needs together with an aim for sustainable development. As well as working directly with communities WCM works to build the capacity of local partner organizations. WCM has been operating in Kachin, Northern Shan State, Mon State and Delta region. All the programs implemented a range of integrated activities such as food security, health awareness and services, reduce drug abuse, primary education and early childhood development, nutrition awareness, WASH activities,Malaria Prevention & control activities, capacity building of communities, disaster risk reduction program and sustainable livelihoods developments. Our Mission: World Concern partners to transform the lives of poor and marginalized people through disaster response and sustainable community development.
