Winners for the 2020 Best Companies to Work in Myanmar (powered by JobNet.com.mm) have been announced

The first edition of the “Best Companies to Work in Myanmar” campaign saw 30 participating companies, with 15 Winners in the Corporate category, and 9 Winners in the SME category.

“For organizations, employer branding activities are key to attracting and retaining the best talent in any market. This becomes increasingly important as the Myanmar job market becomes more competitive and more companies fight for the same talent pool. At the same time, job seekers always look for new ways to identify the best employers during their job search. The BCIM campaign aims to help both.” said Matt De Luca, Co-Founder and Managing Director of JobNet.com.mm, Myanmar’s largest job search site.

Participating companies were required to complete a 70-question, online Employee Engagement Survey of their workforce within a 3 month window. Survey results were then verified by Deloitte and companies who reached a minimum employee engagement threshold are celebrated as the Winners for a given year. The yearly platform aims to provide a measure for companies to benchmark themselves against the rest of the market, as well as provide companies the opportunity to further strengthen their employer brands and gain better insights into the levels of satisfaction and employee engagement within their organization. The BCIM Employee Engagement Report, which is sent privately to all participating companies, provides detailed analytics and insights on the results of the survey across 7 functional areas, from measuring employees’ general alignment with company strategy to assessing the overall satisfaction with management and leadership in the business.

"We are delighted to support the ‘Best Companies to Work in Myanmar’ and the ‘Myanmar Employer Awards’ programs for two consecutive years.
