An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Primary Responsibilities
1. To lead a team of analysts in running private equity style investments including:
- Conducting preliminary assessment and evaluation of investment opportunities.
- Conducting macro-economic and sector research as part of the investment process.
- Preparing investment proposals for the Investment Committee.
- Negotiating transactions and agreements.
- Creating and evaluating financial models on investment targets.
- Conducting due diligence on investment targets.
- Monitoring and managing investee companies.
- To mentor and train the existing investment team (Myanmar nationals) on deal evaluation and execution.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

- Proven and solid buy-side experience in private equity deal evaluation, structuring, closing and monitoring, with at least 5 years’ such relevant experience.
- Ability to lead and delegate and provide on the job mentoring and training.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Fluency in spoken and/or written Burmese would be an advantage but not essential.
- Proven ability to work across all levels and across cultures.
- Proficient in the use of IT and office tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Keen business acumen. Familiarity with the Myanmar economy/market would be desirable.
- Mature and responsible with good analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Already based in Yangon, Myanmar, or if not, willing and able to relocate.
