The purpose of this position is to:
1) Maintain ERP and integrity of financial report
2) Preparation of regular financial reports for management and external stakeholders
3) Governance of internal controls
4) Manage external audit
5) Provide support to Finance Manager and CFO on reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial accounting and closing process with preparation of financial statements, detailed reconciliations and analysis.
- Accuracy of complete accounting records in ERP.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting data with reconciliation with Core MFS system.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax laws
- Design and implement dynamic finance processes to facilitate the business teams and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Ensure tax return submission and provide provision of service to tax authority.
- Adherence to accounting standards and practices of Myanmar, International accounting standards, IFRS and Telecom group accounting policies.
- Lead the external audit process of financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting process in Core MFS system by rigorous testing of financial transactions generated by Core MFS system design and processes
- Implement Revenue Assurance and Internal Control to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions in Core MFS system
- Provide support to business teams in preparation of analysis of various reports and statements.

Leadership
Provides leadership to the day-to-day of the department. Act as a coach and leader to develop the employees further. Develop a culture of knowledge sharing, learning, sharing ideas and feedback to contribute to the development of unit. Coordinate with cross-functional team to develop business process requirements.

At least 10 years of relevant experiences working in accounting and finance department Working and operational knowledge of ERP
(Preference will be given to experience in Oracle E-Business Suite)

Functional Skills/ Knowledge Areas
- Exceptional analytical, planning, organization, verbal/written communication skills and ability to work well under deadlines.
- Experience in financial accounting reporting, financial analysis and optimization with focused experience with banking or financial services.
- Working and operational knowledge of ERP (Preferably Oracle E-Business Suite)
- Experience in preparing tax return submission and dealing with tax authority.
- Experience in dealing with various stakeholders to provide timely inputs to financial reporting. Confidence and ability to propose and defend opinions and perspectives in order to influence and achieve financial objectives.
- Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment. Must be flexible, a team player, enjoy working in teams.
- In-depth knowledge of spreadsheet and advance excel.
