Position description

You will be part of the Internal Audit team responsible for managing and conducting financial, operational, compliance and information systems audits based on our risk reviews in the company.
You will perform process documentation, risk identification and assessment; evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls and to communicate suggested improvements on the organization’s processes succinctly in the audit reports.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a ‘Big 4’ accounting/consulting environment and/or experience in conducting financial and operational audits in the company
• A self-motivated individual with excellent skills in project management, negotiation, problem solving and relationship
• A team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Strong business acumen and the ability to deal with ambiguity
• Ability to communicate across various levels of management
• Ability to work effectively across all divisions and functions in the region
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge in the areas of accounting/finance, operations and IT applications

Desired Skills and Experience
• 3-6 years audit experience (internal or external) or equivalent line experience in a risk or control function.
• Exposure to risk-based audit methodologies within Financial Services.
• Experience of understanding risk/audit issues and control matters.
• Experience in market risk or credit risk processes will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and experience in liaising across departments and teams.
• Excellent auditing skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and spoken English

Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Possesses at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; A recognized professional qualification such as a CPA, CA or CIA desire.
• A good degree in finance, accountancy, statistics, business analytics, computer science or other disciplines
• Strong knowledge in data analytics using auditing software such as ACL/SAS

Preferred Qualifications
• 6 years of relevant working experience
• Professional qualifications (CPA, CA) preferred
• Fluent in English
